Luis G. Chiappy always dreamt of empowering people with financial stability. When he began to search for a career in Financial Services, he thought that becoming a stockbroker was the way to do it – he learned, however, that providing comprehensive service wasn’t that simple. This experience inspired Luis to reevaluate his career intentions. He needed a more strategic approach to generating clients, and he yearned to have closer contact with them. He discovered AXA Advisors, and the rest is history.  

Luis is now an Executive VP of the Southern Division and a Senior Manager of our South Florida Branch. Having come to the U.S. as a young immigrant from Cuba, he found that his pursuit of opportunity and his goals could be attained with AXA’s professional opportunities. The future he hoped for is now a reality – for himself and, more importantly, his wife Cary and their two children. Luis credits his professional satisfaction in part to his ability to grasp human behavior – a talent he’s leveraged into his career. When speaking with clients, he analyzes buying motives. He’s found that by looking at them and listening to their concerns, he can figure out how to uncover their needs and wants. And that’s all in the first meeting.

Luis is a generous guy, and he shares his formula for success with all new AXA Advisors financial professionals. The first step is to construct a detailed plan, the second is to create a plan of execution, and the third is to become a student of the financial industry. As Cary will tell you, his head’s always buried in business and industry publications. But for Luis, it’s his passion to empower people with financial stability that drives his career and his life.
