AXA EQUITABLE INTRODUCES PERFORMANCE
New Tool Offers Fast Online Tracking of
Variable Life Insurance and Annuity Investment Options
New York, NY — AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company today announced the launch of Performance, a new online analytical and research tool that helps financial professionals doing business with the company make faster, informed decisions about their client's variable life insurance and variable annuity investment portfolio choices.
"The new Performance content provides deep portfolio-level information, thereby allowing advisors and agents to better service their clients," said Barbara Goodstein, AXA Equitable's Chief Innovation Officer and Executive Vice President of Marketing. "This is the first enterprise-wide system we have designed for producers, and it will set the stage for additional upgrades later this year."
Performance is composed of two robust sections — Analysis, which includes daily unit values and product performance, and Research, which includes subaccount profiles and allocation portfolios.
Using Performance, financial professionals can:
- Sort their clients' variable product investment portfolios by Asset Class, Subadvisor or Subaccount name.
- Reference historical data in a calendar or table format, excel spreadsheet, PDF or as a printer-friendly HTML page.
- Chart net values of a specific Subaccount, customizing the performance period through time-frame buttons, the calendar feature or convenient slide bars.
- View product performance by rolling increments or year-end and sort by specific periods to view strongest performers.
- Compare, contrast and chart performance of up to 10 Subaccounts over a variety of periods.
"The ability to chart Subaccount performance was designed for producers who like to model their own portfolios. Because it is interactive, producers can pick and choose investment options so they can easily research performance," said Connie O'Brien, Vice President of Internet Strategy & Development.
The Research section of Performance provides detailed information about each variable life insurance policy's or variable annuity's underlying portfolio Subaccount. Each profile provides a portfolio snapshot and lists its investment objective, strategy, top holdings, sector information and other key statistics.
Additionally, through the Research section of Performance, financial professionals can access information on diversification and find educational materials to help inform clients about their investment options.
